Booster Compressor 10 To 40 HP Reciprocating
A booster air compressor is a type of compressor that is made to boost pressure in a system. This compressor booster typically boosts the pressure by four to six times than the normal pressure produced by machines in factories. Most utilities need a booster compressor for temporary uses because sustaining such high pressure can be difficult and costly. Most of these booster air compressors are pneumatic or use air, but some have other power sources. Factories are the places where most booster compressor devices are found. Because only a few consumers need the high pressure and power that these compressors can offer. Factories' machines primarily are equipped to output about 100 pounds of pressure per square inch (PSI) (6.89 bars). This pressure is sufficient to run most devices, but some need additional pressure to operate. When a higher PSI is required, these boosters are used, and they commonly can output from 400 to 600 PSI (27.57 to 41.36 bars). The most common type of air booster compressor is pneumatic. You can use this compressor easily and only a small amount of energy is consumed. Other common sources of power for this type of compressor include electric, diesel and nitrogen.
